It seems like it’s been hyjacked because they as me for my email to sign in and get my password changed but then I get an email saying my yahoo subscription has ended and I need to sign in to renew it

I haven't had anyone have this problem before, not sure what I can do to rectify it.
Is it worth deleting your entire account and make a different one?
