“Mandatory Reporting NOW Applies to Jehovah’s Witnesses”

BIG NEWS from Washington State:
Lawmakers have officially closed the clergy loophole—and yes, it’s aimed squarely at Jehovah’s Witnesses. A new bill now requires all clergy to report csa, even when learned through confession. This is a direct blow to the JW policy of secrecy and the use of their infamous “two-witness rule.”

    Quentin Ledford It's about time!!!

    This and the fact that every complaint or concern sent to headquarters bounces directly to the elders of the sender's congregation with absolutely NO investigation whatsoever also needs to be changed.

    I can't say how many times I've seen people who wrote the society suffer the consequences for expressing their concerns.
