  I have lived long enough to see many waves of technology sweep through society—each greeted with both hope and alarm. Radio, television, and the internet all reshaped the way we live and think. Artificial Intelligence is the newest chapter in that story.
  
  I am absolutely and profoundly amazed at what AI can do. Its capacity to analyze, create, and assist is nothing short of astonishing. It is a tool unlike any before, capable of extending human thought, solving problems in seconds that once took months, and even offering companionship to those who feel alone.
  
  But here is the truth: AI itself does not carry morals, virtues, or integrity. Those qualities reside only in the human beings who design it, control it, and put it to use. Like every powerful tool in history, AI will reflect the heart of the one who wields it.
  
  In the hands of people who cherish truth, compassion, and service, AI can become a force for good—helping humanity grow, heal, and flourish.
  
  In the hands of those driven by greed, corruption, or cruelty, AI can magnify flaws, spread deception, and inflict harm on an unprecedented scale.
  
  That is my greatest fear: not the machine itself, but the abuse of power by those in whom evil dwells in their hearts. AI gives them a sharper blade, a louder voice, a longer reach.
  
  The choice, therefore, is ours. We cannot expect AI to make us wise or just. That responsibility belongs to us. If we lack morals, virtues, and integrity, no machine can save us. But if we choose to cultivate them, AI can amplify the best within us.
  
  In the end, AI is a mirror—showing not what it is, but what we are.
